Hurry to be a millionaire

Ten million liras = 5.34 euroEver wondered how it feels to be a millionaire and carry monetary instruments worth of several millions in your pocket? If you are fast enough, you can still feel the excitement and thrill in Turkey, where the Turkish lira has big, big denominations. One euro is 1,871,147 liras. You could even be a billionaire (US billions) with quite small investment.

At the beginning of the next year, Turkey cuts six seroes from the bills as part of the fight against hyperinflation that has raged in the country for decades.

By the way, the 10 million liras shown in the picture on the left is approximately 5.34 euros.
