If you’re looking for some appliance that is not available on your home country, Best Denki is a good place to hunt it down. The store seems to stock much of everything imaginable for household and personal use. The prices are set here, so need / opportunity to haggle.

Some of the sales clerks know the stuff and others don’t. The latter ones may happily read the specs from the combined price tag and specsheet, and think that they have served you well. Ask to see the manual, as they’ll usually open a box for browsing the manual.
