Heavenly Shopping Center – Heavenly shopping

Heavenly Shopping Center is quite a small collection of shops near the Heavenly skiing slopes in South Lake Tahoe. The center is built around Marriott hotel, and it has several restaurants, a lot of sport shops specialising in skiing and outdoor activities, a few tacky galleries and some other shops.

The prices may be steep during the high seasons, but on low season you can find real bargains, especially in the sport shops. The restaurants are relaxed and still be able to charge outrageously high prices. There are no fast food joints here.

There are a couple of fashion shops, but they are explored really quickly. This is not, at least yet, a replica of Aspen. The galleries seem to sell mostly kitch, not real art.
