Penninn Eymundsson – For Bookaholics
Penninn Eymundsson is the largest bookstore in Iceland, and it has surprisingly big and good English books section. Other languages can be found, too, but the selection is tilted towards Nordic languages. Unfortunately the books are somewhat more pricey than in the mainland.
The store has a good selection of stationery and office supplies. Postcards are available, too.
Consider spending some money to a good Iceland photobook and make your friends and relatives green with envy when flipping though the pages.
