Iittala Glass Museum – Old and new glass

Iittala glass village has also a museum that focuses on the glassware produced by Iittala and their designers. The collection has a few gems from the earlier era.

The second floor has the glass making tools on display with explanations — the various tools and methods used to mold glass are amazing, as well as the temperature of raw glass.

The entrance fee is only a couple of euros, so the museum fits to shoestring budget, too.
