Levante – Basic Italian
The small streets running from north to south on both sides of Kurfürstendamm are filled with small inexpensive restaurant. The area near Bleibtreustrasse and surroundings contains a lot of Italian restaurants. Our pick for a fast lunch was Levante.

The menu contains all the basic Italian dishes; pizzas, pastas, some salads, and meal entrees. Nothing special, just dishes that you could eat in a family dinner with picky children.
The food is okay, maybe a bit too greasy. The service is not the fastest in the town, but still not outrageously slow. The only big minus comes from people smoking in every table around us, but that can hardly be a problem of the restaurant. In German, they still have to invent a non-smoking section to the restaurants.
