Potsdamer Platz – Open-air architecture exhibition
Potsdamer Platz used to be wasteland in the divided Berlin, and now Germans are filling the void with a lot of money involving bold architecture and modern facades. In the middle of one center, an old world luxury hotel remains have been carefully restored and are on display behind a glass wall. A nice juxtapose between the new and the old.

The area has several restaurant and cafés, a few shops including Sony’Style, and a small open-air exhibition about the wall. The new Jewish monument is only a couple of blocks away towards Brandenburger Tor.
If you are interested in architecture photography, prepare with a wide-angle lens — otherwise, you can photograph just details. The scale is so huge.
