Via Veneto – Good and inexpensive Italian

Via Veneto is a no-frills Italian restaurant near the busy Kurfürstendamm shopping street. In fact, the restaurant looked so no-frills at the first time that we decided to go somewhere else. Next time, our feet were hurting so much that we just decided to bite the bullet. And we were, fortunately, positively surprised.

The interiors look a bit like Italian — if your imagination kicks in — but otherwise they have not invested that much to the overall experience of being an Italian trattoria or something. On the other hand, the food is good, the service is fast and the price is small. What more would expect from a restaurant?
