Porsche Design – Sleek stuff

Porsche Design flagship store on Kurfürstendamm has a wide range of ultra-designed items on its shelves. The variety can boggle your mind: shoes, luggage, pens, pipes, pocket knives, glasses, and host of other items.

Everything has been designed with the same principles, and it shows. You can mix and match any and every item with something else in the shop, and they look like they have been designed as a pair.

Porsche’s design is based on form follows function principle, but it has its own twist with dark materials accompanied with metal. It may not be for everybody, but I sure liked it. Too bad that most of the items are hugely expensive.
