Diesel – Small but trendy

Tallinn's Diesel store is located on the second floor in Viru Keskus. The store is not the biggest -- as you can see from the picture -- but it still able to contain all required garments and paraphernelia. The store is relatively airy and luxurious, more poshy than most Diesel outlets.

Foorum – Funky shopping gallery

Foorum is a funky small shopping gallery next to Viru Keskus in Tallinn downtown. There is a limited number of shops, as the gallery is just one corridor. The floors above are part of the same center, but used for offices only.

Kaubamaja – Central department store

Kaubamaja history dates back to the Soviet era. It used to be a parody of a real department store just after Estonia gained independence, but it has completely washed its face -- in fact, you wouldn't guess the history, if you didn't know.

The store can be accessed from Viru Keskus or from the ol... More >

Kristiine – Huge shopping center

Kristiine shopping center has about 130 stores and restaurants under one roof, so it is an ideal place to shop on rainy days. The center is located a few kilometers from the old town, and the route there is not a scenic one. It is not dangerous, but plain dull. You can walk there, if you like, but i... More >

Motivi – Italian fashion for grown ups

Motivi -- written here without the hard rock umlauts (five dots over the letter "o") -- is a Italian fashion store chain for ladies. Compared to the other Italian shop we visited, Fornarina, the garments are designed for more of a business use and grown ups in mind.

Their Tallinn store is located... More >
